FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I view the videos?

You are allowed unlimited viewing on up to 3 computers for 365 days, these being the first three from which you access the site. Please have "cookies" enabled in your browser for the automatic registration process.

Q: In what format are the videos?

The videos were produced in High Definition and transcoded into the latest Flash® technology. This production methodology gives you a wide screen, superlative viewing experience that enables you to truly understand the techniques being demonstrated.

Q: Do I need to install Flash on my computer?

It is estimated that 98% of personal computers have Flash® already installed into their Internet browser, so you are probably already good to go. If your version of Flash® is outdated, or you don't have it installed, you should be prompted to “auto install” the latest version. This will be a simple “follow the prompts” procedure.

Q: What if the video doesn't show up on my computer?

If you were not automatically prompted to install Flash® you may have a corrupt player or an earlier version of the Flash® technology. Please click here to download the latest Flash 9 player.

Q: What types of payments does Instant CPR accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

Q: How soon after I buy the program will I have access to the videos?

Once your card has been electronically verified, you are signed in and have immediate access to the entire program. This process normally only takes a few seconds.

Q: How long is my Instant CPR certificate valid?

Your Instant CPR certificate is valid for two years from the date of issue.

Q: Will my employer accept my Instant CPR certificate?

Instant CPR is taught and approved by an American Heart Association Regional Faculty Instructor. Instant CPR complies with OSHA standards, the International guideline for CPR and ECC, and all current applicable standards for online CPR Instruction. Unfortunately, as all employers requirements differ slightly, we cannot guarantee that your employer will accept Instant CPR as being fully compliant. Please check with your Human Resources Department if this is a concern.

Q: Is Instant CPR certified by the American Heart Association?

Instant CPR complies with the latest guidelines from the American Heart Association and The Red Cross. The course was developed and taught by John Klatt, an American Heart Association Regional Faculty Instructor. We are not, however, a division of either the AHA or The Red Cross and, as such, do not fall under their internal accreditation program.

Q: What if I forget my Password?

Just click on “Forgot Password” next to the “sign in” location. An Email will be sent to you with a site link. This site will allow you to assign a new password to your account. This link allows for a “one time only” usage. Once you access the site, you must assign a new password or start the "Forgot Password" procedure over again.

Q: What if I decide I'd rather not know how to save a life... can I get a refund?

No. As Instant CPR is an information-based service, once you've paid for complete access to that information, we cannot refund your money.

Q: What if I pay for the service and can't view it on my computer?

Our technical services department, support@instantcpr.com, will help you with any problems you encounter while trying to access the actual web site. If we determine that you cannot, and have not accessed the web site, we will refund your money. We cannot, however, help you gain access to the Internet. That is an issue that your Internet provider should help you with. We also cannot help you in problems relating to printing of the Certificate. Those are issues that your computer or printer manufacturer should handle.

Q: Can I share my Email and Password with my friends?

No. An IP address locator will monitor your Password and Email. If we determine that your account is being accessed by too many computers; or at too many locations; or simultaneously at more than one computer at different locations... we will contact you, via Email, to question this usage. Until we receive a satisfactory response, we will suspend your account and your access to the Instant CPR website.
